Store Staff Selects: New-Season Pieces at Whistles St Christopher’s Place

We’re celebrating 40 Years at our first flagship store this London Fashion Week: Whistles St Christopher’s Place. As our pioneering store, it has been home to every Whistles collection since 1985. To mark the occasion, we sat down with the incredible team at Whistles St Christopher’s Place to learn more about their roles and spotlight their new-season picks.

“I’m Bluebelle, Store Manager at Whistles St Christopher’s Place. I’m wearing the blue Suede Western Jacket with the matching trousers from our new Limited Edition Collection. I chose it because I think it’s one of our standout pieces from the new season. I’ve also matched these with our Matteo Biker Boot while it’s still cold outside, but they’re definitely versatile for all-year round.”

“I’m Leann, a Senior Sales Advisor at Whistles St Christopher’s Place. I’ve selected the Chalk Print Denim Shirt Dress, because I was just drawn to the pattern. When it came into the store, I didn’t know it had arrived, but I was just drawn to it straight away, because it’s different. It’s not like your typical denim dress, and I’m a big fan of prints on denim. I’ve paired this with our a black vest and our Leather A Line Skirt underneath. I think it’s a great piece for layering; it could be great in the summer with shorts and a nice T-shirt, or even a vest.”

“My name is Ionela, but everyone knows me as Nelly. I’ve been a Style Advisor at Whistles for ten years. My outfit is part of our Pre-Spring Collection, with lots of bright colours. I’ve chosen our Yellow Button Front Tank and paired this with our Animal Spot Barrel Leg Jeans and our Black Manny Loafers. The Tank is great for this time of year, as you can wear it on its own or over a shirt. With the jeans, the print is bold but it’s very easy to pair with anything, giving a great casual outfit.”

“I’m Tilly and I’m one of the Supervisors. I take care of the stock and sort out everything to make sure it’s ready for the shop floor. I’m wearing the Alpaca Cardigan in this bright green. I like it for the shape – just how soft it is – and, obviously, the colour. I also love the shape of our Selvedge Jeans and how comfortable they are.”

“I’m Marjan and I started working for Whistles in 2018. I like this brand, it’s actually my favourite one. I also love my colleagues, we’re all friends here which brings so much positivity. I’ve chosen the Corinna Belted Crepe Blazer because you can wear it with its matching trousers or on its own – it’s very timeless and chic. I like the details with the belt, I think it looks very nice.”
