A love letter to journalists, The French Dispatch follows the final issue of an American newspaper published in France, bringing to life a collection of tales inspired by Wes Anderson’s love of The New Yorker. One of the major players in the story of The Concrete Masterpiece follows a criminally insane yet extraordinary painter who is commissioned to create new artworks inspired by his muse, the prison guard Simone played by Sedoux herself. Now a regular amongst Anderson’s ever-expanding repertory company of actors, this is most certainly a performance to look out for and keep on your radar.
